AUFTAC
is
currently developing a generic food safety plan
that is based on HACCP which can be used as a model
in businesses concerned with the distribution of
perishable horticultural products. Five AUFTAC members
are in the process of using this plan as the basis
of their in-house quality system which will be
submitted for accreditation to SQF
2000TM. In addition, plans will be
developed that look at quality of service,
occupational health and safety and environmental
aspects of transportation. It is expected that
this product will be available to all members at no
extra charge, whilst non-members will be required
to purchase the plans. |
